Enables you to create as many variations as you like, providing different periods and prices for Featured, Regular and Reciprocal listings.
This mod and instructions is available free to registered members who have subscribed to our newsletter service. A link to the mod and instructions will be available from your member area after you sign in.

Defined Sort Order For Links

Allows admin to define individual sort order for links on the main site. Setting individual values and then selecting 'Admin Defined' as the link sort order will show links in the specified order.
Default is set to '999999' so that links that haven't been manually set will always be shown later in the listings than the ones that have been manually defined.
One possibility for this mod is to set all paid links at a value lower than 10000, reciprocals at a value between 10000 and 500000 and free links higher than 50000. This will then display paid links first, with reciprocals following. Free links will then be displated further down the list.

Advanced CSS Tool-tips

This mod will allow you to set customised tooltips anywhere on your site and offers full control over colours, borders and backgrounds by small edits to the CSS that will be explained at the end of these instructions.
<br/><br/>
Benefits of this mod are:
No Javascript. Works even if user has Javascript turned off in their browser.
Cross Browser compatibility. (May not work in older versions due to CSS compatibility issues with those browsers, but has been tested as working in IE7, IE8, Safari, Chrome, FF, Avant & Orca)
Easy to add new tooltips and edit existing ones.

PRICE: -
Instructions Only: $7.50 (allows you to perform a standard installation)
Standard Install*: From $15
Advanced Install*: From $25 (includes background images creation and some customisation work to fit your template.)
<br/><br/>
*To be quoted an exact price, I would need to see your template as the work involved would differ for each, but to give an idea of price, an install on a clean installation of phpLD on a professional template on ALL form fields would be considered a Standard install. Price would increase if you require installation elsewhere on your site (in addition to your forms).

Business Listings Enhancement

From versions phpLD 3.3 and above, you have the ability to allow Business listings with Address fields and Google Maps. If a user enters address details, a map is displayed. However, users cannot choose whether to display maps or not, or even their email address if they want to.
This modification adds the ability for submitters to choose whether to display maps or not, as well as displaying their business email address or not.
As well as adding a few more fields, such as 'country' to the address and maps routine, it also adds an additional field for 'Business Email, as often, the owners email is not representative of the business. However, if you pay for installation, you can choose if you want this applied or not.
Also, if you are running VSDAN's 'Contact Listing' mod (recommended), it will also allow them to choose whether they can be contactable through your site. This will also be changed from using the 'owners' email address, to the business email. If a business chooses not to be contacted through your site, the email form is disabled for that listing.
In short, a submitter can choose whether to:-
1) Show Maps for their listing or not.
2) Show their Business email address or not
3) Allow contact through your site or not (requires VSDAN's mod)
4) Display their contact details or not

Editing of Comments

Allows admin to be able to edit user comments for links and articles.
Requires prior installation, or availability of Ratings & Comments mod. Article comments were included as standard with 3.3, but the link comments option exists as a separate mod.
Mod is in 2 parts: Separate instructions exist for editing of links comments and article comments. Price quoted is for both parts.

Advanced Tool Tips

Allows you to place attractive tooltips anywhere on your site. Fully customisable colours, borders, backgrounds, fonts etc. Once installed, there is only one template to edit the entries for your tips. No Javascript is required and has been tested on the latest versions of Firefox, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari and Avant.
Instructions Only: $7.50 (allows you to perform a standard installation)
Standard Install*: From $15
Advanced Install*: From $25 (includes background images creation and some customisation work to fit your template.)
*To be quoted an exact price, I would need to see your template as the work involved would differ for each, but to give an idea of price, an install on a clean installation of phpLD 3.3 on a professional template on ALL form fields would be considered a Standard install. Price would increase if you require installation elsewhere on your site (in addition to your forms), or if you specific ways of displaying the tips (such as with GateUK). You could always offer me a bribe to bring the price down.

When a user submits a listing, the Admin notification you recieve will now include further details about the listing, making it easier for your to judge whether the listing is acceptable and it will also contain hashed links for various rejection reasons that when clicked, will send out custom rejection emails to the submitter.
This mod saves a HUGE amount of time for Admin as links can be rejected (or approved) directly from your favourite email client with a single click.
Price will vary depending on how many rejection reasons you want, but will be typically $25 for up to 10. Sorry, for this mod there are no instructions for self install as every user requirement is different and requires unique coding. If you require more than 10, PM me for a quote.
For this I will set up basic email templates (which you can edit from Admin) for all the reasons that you provide. Exact text in these templates will need to be edited by you.

Move Confirmation Links

This mod allows you to move the User, Link and Article confirmation emails into the submission notification emails, so that when a user registers or submits a link that requires confirmation, they only recieve one email rather than two.
<br/><br/>
In addition, it also adds a level of security to prevent anyone from abusing the facility by being able to just change the ID paramenter on the confirm link and go through all the submissions and confirm every link submissions. The URL now contains a random hash value which is unique to every link and virtually impossible to guess.

Historical Events

Allows you to set up a 'This Day In History' display anywhere on your site by entering historical events into admin, including, Event Title, Location, Description, Date etc.
<br/><br/>
Events are pulled randomly by matching the day and month of the current time with that of any events in history you may have added. Can easily be configured to show as few or as many events for a given day as you like (if they are available).
<br/><br/>
Events can be activated or deactivated as you see fit.
<br/><br/>
This is a great way to rotate unique content on your site that will keep the major search engines coming back to index your site.
<br/><br/>
This is also great for niche directories to offer some informative content on your chosen subject.
